Happy belated berfday, US of A

I'm sick and tired of being criticized
I'm sick and tired of barely gettin by
I'm sick and tired of not livin right
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired

I'm sick and tired of being pushed aside
I'm sick and tired of callin folks for rides
I'm sick and tired of this petty life
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired

Friday and Saturday rocked. Played in coba1t_blue's Heroes Unlimited game. The hard parts over. The group is together, for whatever reason. We work fairly well together, so far. There's still a couple of players who've yet to be able to make it, but all things considered, it's a good group. It's a supernaturally themed campaign, so it immediately had my interest. Let's see where we go with it.

Saturday night I went to angelsboi's memorial dinner. Met a lot of interesting people with a lot of common interests. Gamers galore, baby!! It's nice to see Kevin again, in any case. Was a tad worried about him after Ryan passed, but he's dealing.

On Sunday, our internet connection opted to die. This was slightly disheartening, as the net is my major point of contact with the WORLD. So I was half bored all day. Tried to beat my j/o record and failed. I must be getting old. Played FF8 for a while and actually managed to make some sort of progress. I need to upgrade my weapons badly, but I also need materials for that. *sigh*

A online friend of Marques, name of Tim, decided to cut his trip to Cancun short(he was bored) and visit. He's a music prof from Columbus, OH. He's intelligent, cute, outgoing and as seems to be the case with a lot of guys I like, not interested in me. *thbbbbbbth*

We went and saw the fireworks downtown, drove around and got pizza and just talked. Tim and Bruce hit it off immediately, as Bruce was a music major in college. I could honestly sit and listen to the two of them talk for hours about music...when I'm in a good mood.
That mood soured on Monday night when I bought a new power supply for my computer and while the machine started, nothing came up on the monitor. Nothing. I connected it to Bruces machine. Nothing. *sigh* Either my video card is hosed, or my motherboard is hosed. That, combined with the increasing "nobody wants me" vibe I've been feeling lately, devastated any good mood I had left.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong sometimes.

Jeremy bought over 9 Dead Gay Guys which was fucking HILARIOUS! Kind of reminded me of a gay version of Snatch. Enjoyed it despite the sour mood that was festering.

BTW, the net STILL hadn't come up yet.

Yesterday, the net came up for about an hour, just long enough for John to check his mail, then went back down. Blah.

I went out, just because I was bored and mopey and needed to get the hell out the house. Bought my MARTA pass for the week and headed out. Went ot the Dunwoody station on a whim, then took the bus over to North Springs, then took another bus back, just to see where they went. Had an interesting talk with an old man from Brooklyn about his experience during 9-11.

Got home about 3 or so. The net was back up by then, so I got in a couple of hours of CoH.

I believe the Crimson Slayer is doomed to spend the rest of his life as a character in debt. I just can't seem to get below 1500 debt without dying. I got to play with nameless, which is always fun, tho. Hoping to get him out of debt sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I REALLY need to play as I Q for a while. I'm starting to like him a lot. And it's frustrating that I can't seem to play with my friends who want to play with me.

Watched Nip/Tuck with John last night. I'm really liking that show. They are RAW.

Anyway, back to work.
